Shows no longer aired on Tv
Majority of the shows people watch on TV today are not even worth watching anymore or like the old shows aired back a few years ago. Today, TV programs are more about drama, people's personal private life's. Programs like Jon and Kate plus eight, I have watched a few of there series, found it to be more drama then being an inspired movie in helping others who walk in their shoes similar to their life's. I am one sibling out of fifteen children that my parents conceived together but yet my parents did not advertised or broadcast on national TV, our family personal life's were kept out of the public. TV shows now like Highway To Heaven, The Walton's, Little House On The Prairie others like them they were great episodes, great movies to watch. Not only were they good old movies, they were inspiring. Yes; they had drama in the the movie series but not like the drama they have in today movies series. What happen to these shows? Many of our youngsters watch movies I find in them violent behaviors, unreal, movies like Sponge Bob, The Simpson's, others similar to them. Majority of the shows are aired on TV today that children watches I wouldn't even allow my own children watch such movies. I was raised without a TV in our home for many years so therefore today I am not a big TV watcher.
When the American TV drama series which ran on NBC from 1984 to 1989, it starred from Michael Landon, an angel who was placed on probation and his companion friend; Victor French who played Mark Gordon who was not an angel, Michael Landon played the part as Jonathan Smith. When the movie series first aired I actual stopped whatever I was doing to sit down and watch the episodes. I tried not to miss watching each episodes. The first time, Highway aired back in 1984, I stopped watching the episodes which I now call them, Love In The Afternoon, soap operas. I was sadden when I heard in the news that Highway To Heaven was going to be taken off the aired and of the last episode in the early 1989. The reason why the last episode was originally filmed in 1988 but did not aired until late spring of 1989, into the summer 1989. The last episode of Highway To Heaven aired in August 4, 1989. According to my research, the series ending was due to it being canceled by the network and may not have been solely the consequences of Victor's French's death in June 1989 from lung cancer. Prior to Victor French's death, Michael Landon, what I can recall of remembering that he also died of some form of cancer.
Highway To Heaven episodes helped people to overcome problems in their life's. I was so inspired watching many of these episodes, how Michael Landon and Victory French worked together to help people who has taken advantage of mental illness, senior citizens, showed wealthy and greedy business folks by encouraging them to use their wealth for good by helping others in need. I thank Michael Landon for he had a great impact in my life, inspired me in ways teaching me to help others and what the movie Highway To Heaven is so reality what goes in our society today.
Michael Landon showed so much love, laughter, inspiring life he went out of his way, with Victory French as his human friend companion helping many in need; regards of the color of their skin, disabilities, social economic backgrounds, discouraging prejudiced in treating people because they are different, poor, elderly, disable. Michael Landon and Victory French are true Angels now. May their souls rest in peace.
