Rainbow,Joseph coat of many color,similarity

Every time I spot a rainbow I think of the promise that God made to Noah. He promised to never flood the earth gain. The rainbow reminds me also of Noah's ark. It rained forty days and forty nights, Noah sent out a Dove to find dry land, the dove came back twice. When Noah sent the dove out the second time, it came back with an olive in his mouth. So this what the rainbow reminds me. The second thought that the rainbow reminds me of Joseph's coat of many colors. His father gave him this coat and his brothers were jealous because I am assuming the reason of their jealousy was because Joseph was their father's favorite. I was told this story from my Sunday school teacher way back when I a child, I favorite this story. As Noah was obedient to God, Joseph was also a faithful servant. My second story would that I read about is Job.

As everybody have seen a rainbow, the beautiful colors of the rainbow. You have the color green,,blue, orange, many other colors, than you think about Joseph coat of many colors. The colors of these two similarities are bright and cheerful colors and radiant colors. Many knows what forms a rainbow; a rainbow is when light and water forms in the sky. Sometimes after a good rain, the sun immediately comes out, look up in the sky, sometimes after the storm a rainbow appears in the sky. Many children from maybe their grandparents or parents that at the end of each rainbow is a bucket gold. I myself was told that story many times from my father. As innocent children we believe that myth. As we grow we discover on our own it was just a myth. We believe many silly things when we're young. I always admired the beautiful colors of the rainbow, regardless of the story, who knows maybe that is how I started loving the rainbow of many colors.

The many colors also reminds me of the beauties of God's creation and his promise to Noah. I have spot a rainbow for awhile now but I look for them when I look up in the sky. I love the clouds, the form and shape of them, the radiant bright blue sky, color of the sun, color of the clouds. I sit here think of the colors of the rainbow, if you really focus on the colors, you see with your own eyes, the colors to me represent the colors of God's creation of the earth. Joseph coat of many colors is like similar meaning of the rainbow. Bright happy colors. What I got from the story of Joseph coat that his father made this coat because Joseph was special, the chosen one to go out and witness to others and Joseph was blessed with wisdom.

Questions I ponder on, What is the purpose of light? I see that light helps me to see. Lord is the light of my life, the ability to be able to see the responsibility in my own life. God helps me to understand my spiritual life, the deliverance from destruction, as it is that nagging feeling back of my mind something more or nothing behind the grave. When I focus on the colors of the rainbow, the colors also reminds of a special bountifulness friendship with my dear special sister Judah's daughter. How God interceded and brought us two together, it was meant to be, God was in control. I don't know her personally, our great testimonies brought us together by the grace of God. God allowed us to share our testimonies and he led me to her Hub site when she left encouraging comments on my Hubs. The rainbow allows you to see if you look from the eyes of your heart that God is still in control. The rainbow makes a statement of God's love, God's promise and God's creation.

My sister Judah's daughter comments gave me great spiritual encouragement. My sister was a God sent. Many times I sit here or on my porch in my prayers when I am talking to God I have asked him many times to send me a good spiritual friend who loves my Savior as much as I do and even more. Than one day I opened my Hub, and there comment from my dear sister Judah's daughter. So next time you see a rainbow or hear the story of Joseph coat of many colors, really concentrate and focus on those beautiful and radiant colors. Closing I am going to say the rainbow bright and radiance reminds me the beautiful, unconditional love Jesus has for all his children. The beauties of a new friendship Jesus brought in my life. I love my sister Judah's daughter and thank God for sending her my way. Judah's daughter has very good inspiring Hubs. I enjoy reading her Hubs,I find them encouraging. Slight not the small voice of God, Blessed of the little things.

Wow, thank you for your love, sister in Christ. He brought YOU to me right on time and I'm so glad we were both going through this together to be there for each other in an instant!!

This hub is beautiful in so many ways. I think of what brought on the rainbow in the first place ~ this represents our pain ~ the horrible storm that caused great destruction! While the storm rages we cannot see the rainbow...only after the storm!!

Knowing it takes both water and light to show this beautiful rainbow, Jesus is the both the living water and the Light of the world. Amen.

The coat of many colors was an act of genuine love from Joseph's father. I wonder if that great love didn't give him the endurance he needed as he was cast into the pit and sold into slavery, spent time in prison, was falsely accused...somehow he knew he would see his father again one day, I think!

Joseph's father represents our Father in heaven. He has given us his promises (the rainbow) and covered us in his love (the coat of many colors), assuring us He is with us through all our trials and that no "flood" will be able to overtake and destroy us again! Like Joseph, we also KNOW one day, and hopefully soon, we will see our Father again!! What a day that was for Joseph and what a day it will be for us!!

As far as Joseph's brothers who betrayed him, it was they who came to Joseph and repented. Joseph forgave and helped them. Had those brothers still raged with jealousy and conspiracy ~ Joseph would have had no part, I'm sure. God would have poured out His wrath, I think!! But, we don't know this because that's not how the story went. We can only base God's dealings with people and sin by the character He shows us of Himself in the Bible.

So much in this hub ~ so much in the rainbow to ponder. Praise God He is healing us daily even now, sister. I love you so much!! May His Spirit stay upon us and in us with His Comfort that only He can give!! Amen.
