Story of Job
58Life Of Job, faithful servant of God
Reading the book of Job I found it to me anyways a very inspiring scriptures, inspiring messages that relates many trials and painful suffering I endured in my own through the years. Job and his family resided in Uz. His wife and Job together they had seven sons and three daughters were born to them. He had many possessions and lived very wealthy man. Job owned several thousands of sheep, seven thousand exact and three thousand keys. Continue reading the chapter and the book of Job, the story of Job became more interesting and educational. Alot of what he went through is similar to what I have endured in my own life. His sons would go and prepared feasts in their homes, each on his appointed day, would send invite their sisters to come and enjoy the feast and drink with Jobs sons. The days of the feasting was running their course. Job would send and sanctify them and would rise early in the beginning of the day would offer burnt offerings. Job replied that he believed his sons have sinned and cursed" God in their hearts. Job did regularly.
He served God faithfully, for Job was a righteous and lived a comfortable life. Satan hoped he could destroy Job's character, Satan hoped to convince God by allowing him to attack God's faithful servant. Satan chat with God, he said that the only reason that Job is obedient and serve you and righteous man because you make his life easy and comfortable but if you take that all away from Job, he turn his back on you and curse you. So God allowed Satan to bring disaster upon Job, but God allowed this but do not take his life. Apparently they had agreement. Satan's attack Job's character came. Job started to loose all his precious possessions, his family turned on him. Job loses his property and the fire from God fell from heaven and burned all of Job'sheeps and his servants, and consumed them. One servant escaped so he could come and tell Job.
Satan continue his attacks on Job, his wife asked Job how could love and serve our Master, our Heavenly Father seeing what your going through. Satan attacks Jobs health. Satan stretch out his hand and touched his bone and flesh and Satan assumed if he attacked Job's health, Job would surely cursed God but Job didn't, he remain a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil. "WOW"; what a great story.Job's wealth gone, children deceased, health failing him, despite all these disasters that Satan endured in his life, Job still held firmly to his faith. Friends came over to visit and disowned him. Before his friends have spoken, Job cursed the day he was born but no matter how powerful Job's troubles crushed, God's hold is more powerful.
I have learned a lot from reading Job's story. I, myself even cursed the day I was born. Of all the troubles and painful experiences I endured in my own life, God still was watching over me and protected me. When I read all the troubles that Job endured in his life, how faithful and blameless and he yet still stayed righteous and fear God and shunned evil. I think of my troubles I also fear God, how my faith was tested many times. Those who have tried on regular basis to destroy my spirit. I think back and granted my life was not the greatest but many times when I remember being abuse, God allows me to also be reminded that he was there. On December 24, 1963, God send someone to our door bearing gifts, I just thought about that. The people from the church that just happen to knock at our door just at the right time, God's time. God knew I was in trouble, he knew I was being hurt. So God sent me help, a reminder to let me know he is still there and he heard a child's cries. My brother could not continue or finished what he started on me.
I got angry at God and I have used my pain and problems towards God and even asked God, "Why? he was not there at the lowest time of my life, when I needed him the most. Reading the scriptures messages of the chapter Job, God was there now that I look back. The bible states in Job 1:20; Job arises, tore his robe, shaved his head; fell to the ground and worshipped. Job said: "Naked I came from my mother's womb, And I naked shall I return there. The Lord provided, the Lord has taken away; Blessed the name of the Lord.
When we allow the material things come before God, and material items become our God, than it distances us away from God teachings and commandments. I have learned from reading Job, when I allowed to just focus on my pain and troubles, I ask myself am I really placing my faith in God or even trusting God. When it come to where you have to question your faith, then you need to take an inventory of your christian life. I did that. I bowed my head in shame to God, asked God forgive me, show me to help me to grow in my faith and to serve him as his faithful servant Job. Shining words: Faith is the strength of the soul inside, and lost is the man without it. I Know and really believe in my heart from reading and learning the scriptures message from Job that he is and always will be a great testimony to witness to others who may be walking his sandals today. I shared my testimonies because I believe it is a way to witness to others if they can see by reading my testimonies that they are not alone, others are going through similar heartaches and pain to, I am here to tell them, that no matter what I endured in my life, it helped me not only grow in my faith but to find my inner strength today to open up and share my story to others. I also starting to find my other hidden talents that I did not even know I had or could do because Satan had me blind by keeping me blocked from seeing the truth. Satan also attacked me in ways in my own life, for Satan did not want me to share my testimonies, because he would be afraid that people that read my stories would see the truth of God's power, God's love.
The comments I read on many of my Hubs from my dear Hub friends and brothers and sisters words of encouraging me, positive comments helps me to continue to share my testimonies of where God brought me in my life and what he is doing in my life. God is still working on me to be what he wants me to be. Like a seed planted in the ground needs water and sunlight and nourishment. God send me inspiring friends and other sisters and brothers. Judah's daughter and others are my sunlight, my nourishment, but God is my water in my life. The joy of the Lord is my strength for God in me is infinite wisdom, He shows me what to do and directs my paths. I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHICH STRENGTHENS ME!

Sister, your concluding words of your hub made me glad and rejoicing. Thanks.
I agree Job is an incredible book Starbug!
It contains lots of hidden treasures within it so-to-speak.
Your commentary on it was wonderful!

AMEN!! What came to mind as I read this is two things:
1) The song: "Lord, You are more precious than silver; Lord, You are more costly than gold; Lord, You are more beautiful than diamonds ~ Nothing I desire compares with You."
2) Revelation 12:11 "And they overcame him [Satan] because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death."
I love you ~ He is our precious Savior; our life everlasting! And your are a gift to me; to all who read. You are precious in His sight!!
