Praying from the heart

 A sincere prayer God likes to hear. Words that comes from the heart, words of honesty. Praying is speaking to God, thanking him for many blessings but when troubles comes in our life's, trials and tests we get discourage we don't feel like praying; God understands, he knows. Listen, Jesus Christ is our best friend right, we may have a lot of best friends here on earth some has one, some may have two or more. Some may have a friend that they can tell their darkest secrets, go to them for advise, be able to pick up the phone any time of the day or night that friend will listen and be there for you. A very special best friend who comforts and encourage you when life gets tough. Sometimes a great deal of times a friend also can let you down and friendship that you may had with a person could end faster then a blink of an eye.

Sometimes a friendship ends because of a disagreement or an harsh argument over something so small. Then there are times when a friend moves away and you don't hear from them anymore even though before they moved they promised they stay in contact with you. Promise to write, to call and always be there. You do the same for your friend, make the same promises. I am not a fancy writer or cross every t or dot every i but my writing the words I write comes truly from my heart, how I am feeling and how I express the way I feel or give my opinions on subjects. Maybe I don't put my words in the proper sequences or use the proper English but to me that is okay because I know I am not perfect. I know I am just a fallible human-being and I make mistakes. A true and honest friend loves you unconditionally even if you make mistakes and excepts who you are, what you are.

There is one friend who will never betray you, never forsake you and you can go to this friend anytime of the day or night, that will friend will always be there. That friend will love you truly unconditionally, will hold your hand through the lowest times of your life and be there even through the happiest and joyous times of your life. Be there at your wedding, a new birth, help you walk through your accomplishments, help you find inner strength with your-self. That friend will forgive you seventy times seven no matter what are faults are that true friend will except you. I did not have many friends growing up, I had acquaintances. Matter of fact growing up I was bullied, picked on because I was different, I was shy, picked on because I was not a fighter or did not wear fancy clothes. In my childhood years being picked on was traumatizing for a child. I lost trust in mankind and it made me shy away not making new friends as I grown into my adults years.

Through the years I have came to realize that I have a very special friend who walked with me through all my trials and suffering, my disappointments, realized that he has been with me all the time even at times at my lowest. I came to realized I can always go to him no matter the day or time. I can speak to him when I am in my bed at night laying there and my head wonders. I can talk to him when I am discourage and to low to pray. I can tell him what has been lay-ed upon my heart and tell him all my burdens. I can talk to him and if my words don't come at right, he understands what I am trying to say, he already knows what I am going to say and what is lay-ed on my heart before I bow my head in prayer.

Like the song says; What a friend we have in Jesus. Yeppers; Jesus is my co-pilate, he is my best friend. Growing up when I just thought I could no longer take it no more, the pain, the tears, the aches in my heart, my memories, the nightmares of my childhood trauma, my fears, my confusion. Jesus was there a friend to the end. Jesus loves and enjoys and is happy when we kneel down or bow our head in prayer, come to him and speak to him. When we tell him all our troubles, trust in him and surrender and submit all it in his hands. A friend who comforts you, cries with you, feels your pain and sorrows, a friend who is there anytime of day or night, he is just a call away. It costs nothing.

Jesus wants us also to hear our honest, sincere prayers as we would talk to our closes friend. It don't have to be in fancy words or using the proper English. When our words comes from our heart and it is a sincere honesty prayer, God hears. God says come to me and lay down your burdens. Ask and you should receive, knock and the door will be open. We are children of Christ, sisters and brothers in Christ, we may not be blood family but we are a family of God. Christians gather together to express their love for Jesus Christ our Savior by serving their communities and worshipping their Lord in the streets of their cities. We celebrate by the body of Christ.

Each footstep on the mark is an action of our love and service to Jesus Christ. A friend forever a friend for eternity. Our love for our precious Savior that we should feel passionate, vibrant, dynamic is the very core what it means to be a christian and to know Jesus Christ is to love Him. Jesus Christ loves us more then a friend, our personal relationship with Him is marked by intimate,closeness, and mutual sharing our thoughts and feelings and what is lay-ed upon our hearts. Sometimes when things are going right in our life or our life is not going the way we like them to be or our dreams are crushed, we blame God. I was guilty doing that at times, but what a friend I can go to ask Him to forgive me. Sometimes when we are feeling blue our our passion for Christ distance and grows stale so we have to be careful for the devil is at work and working harder to stray us away.

If our love for Christ is cold and to us if we feel or get in the state of mind with an attitude saying to our-self it doesn't matter how faithfully we serve Him or how rightly we believe or strongly we stand. If we fail to love Him, we disobey the greatest commandment. Leaving your first love is the greatest sin.If you miss first base, it doesn't matter how far you hit the ball, nor how many bases you touch. If you miss first base, you're out of His favor.

Remember Jesus Christ is a friend forever, a friend beyond a friend. Let Jesus know what is upon your heart today, let your prayer be sincerely and words from your deepest thoughts, your heart, whatever is lay-ed upon your heart. He already knows, don't expect fancy words or proper English. I know I speak to Jesus every day, and tell him sincerely what is laying upon my heart. I even ask questions, I have a lot laying upon my heart. When I bow my head down to pray I submit and surrender it in your hands.
