God Bless America

  1. Our country America has changed over the years. As we look back in time in our incestors times, how they struggled to make ends meet, employment, the male providing for their families. The woman of the house-hold stayed home raising their children. I know my mother and Aunt and Uncle share many stories when they were a child. They tell me how their parents struggle just to provide food on the table, clothing and shoes on their feet. They also say although we had it tough, families in our time shared and pull together when one family might have extra they share with another family that would have less or may be in need.
  2. Yea; our country has changed dramatically. Although our incestors had it tough there was more love, strength, faith, friends and churches were full every Sunday services. I know change is good but some changes can be not so good. I learned a lot from hearing the stories from my mother,Aunt and Uncle and grandparents. I try to carry on what I learn teaching it to my children and pray they would carry the teachings on to their children.
  3. Listening to many of their stories were very interesting and educational. My grandmother shared a story with me when I was young girl. It touched my heart and today is part of my memories. I'll share the story she told me, as it was many years ago when she shared this story with me so I may not tell the story as grandma would say it. Grandma's are better saying it and coming out of her mouth that why I always says Grandma's are special in every which way.
  4. Her story began with Love: grandma says for God shows us love in many ways, he gives us the strength to help us get through the bad times and he understands when at times we feel to low to pray. His love is unconditionally. God's love is always there. One day my child, grandma says; you'll understand.
  5. I could never understand why grandma opened her home to many strangers, the homeless. There was one lady who came to live with grandma, her name was Mary. She was homeless up in the years. I don't recall how grandma ever came by meeting Mary. Anyways Mary became part of all our life's and we started calling her Aunt Mary. She lived longer then my grandma and took good care of my grandma.
  6. Grandma said I as myself showed Mary the Love God shares and shows me every day. God's love for instance, our devotion and respect towards him, helping one another, doing God's work as Jesus went out healing people, witnessing, so forth. God is our creator. In all faith God carries the same aspect, fraternal love is the love of ones family, friends and even that one who may be so close and dear to you in that repect.
  7. Each culture expresses thier love in its own special way. John 3:16, it stated that God gave his only begotten, Jesus paid the price for human kind so we all can have forgiviness of our sins and eternal life with him one day.
  8. Today, I believe mankind forgets or not remember or be reminded of the Love God gives us. It was sad many life's were taken on September 11 and as sad it was that day many Americans pulled together to help one another, Americans cried, prayed and supported one another. It was sad for this even to happen and to have many innocent life's taken.
  9. A short time after the 9-11, Americans went back to their own life's. Now today very few talks about the 9-11 incent, today, our country is in trouble again, poverty, jobless, hungry, illness, social security, medicare, our government. God says; there will be signs of the second coming, I hear many times how America is a strong and free but through my years what I saw with my own eyes and hear was hatred, violence, betrayal even our churches today have changed. People makes the church not the church. If you don't fit in a church because you may be poor or the color of your skin, live with mental illness, or dress fancy or drive a new car, your treated as the outcast so I can understand why many americans don't attend church anymore.
  10. Today many americans are having groups in their homes to share God's word and have bible studies as the Amish do. Church is just a building and the people makes the church. From the light of my own experiences and many churches I have attended I always try to fit in. I live with mental illness due from my past abuse history in my childhood years so I do not fit in. At the church I attend I can see the differences in people and others who attends our church who do not dress fancy or drives the newer cars so this cause many churches to split and this sad.
  11. God's love never changes as I mentioned above. God do not favoritism or shows more love to one more then another. His love is the same to all mankind. He does not judge on what we wear or drive or how differnet we are. His love is the same to all mankind. He loves all and shows us his through his loving ways, discipline, tests and the trials we all face and go through each day but the trials and tests we go through makes us stronger and should draw us closer to God. God will not allow us go through trials and tests we can not handle as it states in his word in 1 Cornithians 10:13.
  12. It is sad and heartbreaking that many do not attend church because they do not feel they belong or fit in or feel part of God's family. As a church family we are all serving the same God. God sees from the heart not from what we wear or how rich we are or how what kind of car we drive or how much is in our bank account.
  13. The moral of this story is how America has changed over the years and the love americans express towards each other. Granted Love are the same but yet far different. God's love never fails or changes. It is our faith, or devotion and respect towards the creator in all faith's because God does carry the same aspect for all.
  14. God Loves conquers all! God Bless and pray that all americans have a blessed sunshine day!
