God's Sense

Using God's Sense makes sense
Before I start my day I bow my head in prayer set aside time for God to get me through the day. I have take noticed of how my life goes each day when I forget to pray or even set time for God. It seems everything goes wrong. I get frustrated. My day is just upside down but when I stop and pray my day goes smoothly, my attitude is more calmer when something goes wrong or hear bad news and I can handle the situation much better because God is in control.
Using God's sense to start your day I believe it makes sense. For myself when I wake up in the mornings I must have that first cup of coffee to wake me up, to get me through the day. When we give God time that is our special time with God. It is just like having that cup of coffee or tea in the morning. Prayer and time for God gives us the engery, the strength and to face the day whatever comes our way.
With the encomony the way it is today, I believe or you would think more and more people would turn to God but instead people distance themselves further and further from God. When God seems so far away but so close. God gave us six senses, God is all around us if we just allow ourselves to see with the eyes of our hearts instead with our physical eyes. I hear people ask this question; Where is God? I tell them look around you.
The new baby or grandchildren the touch when we hold them close to our hearts. The stars shining so bright when we see and look at them at night, the bright shining moon, The flowers we smell, a dew drop scent. Taste: a sweet taste of honey dew, hearing; the song of praises we hear from church, the air we breathe, the beautiness we see all around us, the bright beautiful flowers blooming in the spring time, the rain drops, the newborn babe, the blessings he blesses us with, new friends, God is all around us and he welcomes us with open arms, loves us unconditionally.
I love the scripture I have given here, it comes from the book of Cornithians, 1 Cornithians 10:13, For there is no temptation taken you such as common as God, he will make a way for us to escape. God gave us all 6 senses, is we use common sense, use God's sense, it be better world to live in.
The Facts of Life: today every time you turn on your tv lately you hear about our encomony and how many families and individuals struggling to make ends meet. It seems that most of our struggles revolve around wanting or having something we do not have or something we don't want. For example: I pray asking God to bless me with a car, what I prayed and ask him for is a want, using God's sense my prayer should be thanking God for what I have and he has blessed me with.God's knows what is best for us and he provides us with all our needs, God knows the deisres of our hearts.
We can go a lot further together than we can go alone. No day is complete without God. Count your many blessings, you will soon lose count, your not a number or just a person, Christ knows our every need,he knows our name, and our face. God answers to our prayers may exceed our expectations. Pray to God, use God's sense. God's word, the gospel will never grow old. Living for Jesus Christ, we must learn to die to ourself.
Freindship can help dispel loneliness and a word of encouragement can make the difference between giving up or moving on.

A beautiful message! Each day the first thing I do is get some coffee, read aloud one chapter from each Testament plus a page from this year's daily devotional, and pray. There is not better way to start the day and it has changed my days since I started this routine maybe five years ago.
