Childhood is a very fragile and important time in the development of a human being

Just in United States alone some where a child or more are being abuse in some form of way or another. Children being abuse lives in secrecy and become prisoners in their own minds and self. Granted times has changed as well as the laws for child abuse but my opinion still not enough is being done. f we look at the statics how many children are being abducted, sexual abuse or being abuse in other ways, bullied, children afraid to attend school live in fear getting beaten up, although there is a bullied laws our children are still being bullied in other different ways. Eyes are not open until their is a school shooting. I believe a goo percentage of our children serving prison terms or in juvenile prisons comes from homes where abuse was presented, domestic abuse, child abuse, abuse is abuse when another person is being violated in appropriate manner.

Our childhood years are important years of development of a human being. When a child is being abuse or traumatized in their childhood years it is know that it causes psychological, physical, sexual and mental relapses problems n their later years. Many children who have been abuse or being abuse today may not want to speak to nobody about it being afraid and ashamed of what exactly the perpetrator did to them.victims of child abuse may not want to speak to anyone about the abuse they have endured, because they are afraid their abusive parent or guardian or the persons who have abused them to get into any trouble. The child may dearly love their abuser and does not want to get them into trouble with the law. Another consideration is that the child might not want to tell anyone for fear of retaliation from their abuser. The child might be fearful, with good reason I might add, that should the authorities question their abusive parent, that parent will harm that child for having told anyone. According to the research I have gathered on this topic from the Voice of Woman.

My sister and I, the photo that I have with this topic were two of how many that are sharing our stories hoping and praying it will open up many viewers eyes and wake up United States abuse needs to be more attention to, not enough is being done protecting our children, our next generations.  For many years my younger sister and I kept our stories secrecy afraid it being our faults and also ashamed, guilty to tell anybody thinking how people may look at us. Being victims of child abuse constantly for many years has effected how we live and conduct our lives today. My faith keeps me strong where however the way it affected my younger sister total differently. She isolates herself from the outside world, barely speaks and sleeps most her life away. She is on several anti-depression medicine, sees a psychologist. a psychiatrist and a social worker to help her get through the week. It upsets me how our own parents who said they loved us but showed us love all the wrong way.

According to the information on the website that I did research on to learn more healthy ways to help my younger sister and educate myself to help me to understand the effects of our adult years. This is the information from this website I found were helpful and hope it may help others understand and help to get healthy again.  Women who were emotionally abused as children often develop eating disorders, experience substance abuse problems, partake in “self harm” such as cutting or burning themselves, have virtually no self-esteem and experience depression, among other things.
