A Forgiving Spirit

Forgiviness......When I adopted my chihuahua from the shelter she has taught me a lot about forgiviness. I named her Buttercup. I seen how bad of a shape buttercup when I first layed eyes on her at the shelter. It took awhile for her to come around and for her trust me. Yet she forgives mankind. It was mankind who has abused, abanded her, although she had those memories she forgive humans. Buttercup taught me a lesson or two of forgiviness.
Forgiviness do not cost a cent but it is worth millions. It is available to anybody but yet used by so little. I found this article in a newspaper that I like to share, this article that I have found in the paper speaks so much truth in it.
The article starts out about how many people stores away forgiviness, people locks away forgiviness saving it only for those who ask for it and are deemed worthy. This is how the the world we live in today has taught us to view forgiviness, but yet when God scrafice His Only Begotten Son" Jesus payed the price for all sinners and Jesus asked for nothing. Forgiviness was free.
The most valuable gift Jesus Christ offers every sinners.God however, has a completely different take on it. Throughout the bible Jesus tells us , in a variety of ways, that we are to forgive those who has hurt us.We think. "But so and so has hurt us at least 10 times and they never ask me to forgive them.
They act though nothing has happen it sure doesn't bother them! Those who have offended us rarely are aware of it. Therefore, they lose no sleep over it and we are left fixated on what they have done! We grow bitter as times passes by and remain stuck in time.
Here's a secret: Forgiviness isn't for the person who has hurt you,it is for you! I know it sounds crazy. When someone hurts you, even if it's the 50th time and they haven't asked forgiviness,go ahead and forgive them.If you are having a tough time letting go of the hurt,Let God, surrender and sumbit in his hands,pray fervently. God will give you the needed strength. Once you've done this several times, it will get easier and easier.
I pray this bit of little information I write here in this hub , if used will prevent relationships from ending and make you stronger witness for Christ. Many of us struggle forgiving ouselves. Really think about this now. We are our worse enemy, i say that from the light of my own experiences, punishing"ouselves for the mistakes of our past.This is not God wants. God wants us to take a bad choice and make it a good one.God wants us to let go of the past and focus on the future that he has in store for us and wants to give us.
Pray and cease the moment and forgive anybody who you may have been holding forgiviness from, including yourself. Determine today or tomorrow, this second that you will no longer allow your history to control your destiny! Forgiviness, it is free to all but only used by few. Don't be one of the few that hold on to unforgiviness. When Jesus scarfice his life for all sinners, he did not hold onto grudges or revenge, Jesus forgive and forgotten, He loves everyone!
